**Deadline extended until 22nd of March 2024**
IAH (Irish Group) is delighted to announce the Early Career Hydrogeologist Awards for 2024 with a competition deadline extended until 22nd of March 2024. This award aims to highlight excellent work by early career hydrogeologists and provide them with an opportunity to share their work with a wider audience and become engaged with the Irish hydrogeological community.
Eligibility
- Less than 5 years professional experience
How to apply
- Eligible candidates should submit an abstract (<250 words) in relation to the research or project they wish to be considered.
- Candidates must have permission to present their work at the IAH conference should they be successful.
- Abstracts to be submitted to secretary@iah-ireland.org by the deadline of Friday 22nd of March 2024.
- The IAH will review the abstracts and invite successful candidates to present their work at the annual conference on the 16th and 17th of April 2024
- Successful applicants will be notified at the start of April.
Prizes
- 1st – €500 cash prize, free attendance at the IAH Annual Conference (16th to 17th of April 2024) at the Tullamore Court Hotel (including conference accommodation) and the opportunity to present their work at the conference.
- 2nd – €300 cash prize, free conference attendance, flash talk and poster presentation.
- 3rd – €150 cash prize, free conference attendance, flash talk and poster presentation.
