IAH Early Careers Awards 2026
IAH (Irish Group) is delighted to announce the Early Career Hydrogeologist Awards for 2026. This award aims to highlight excellent work by early career hydrogeologists, provide an opportunity to share their work with a wider audience and become engaged with the Irish hydrogeological community. Eligible candidates should submit an abstract in relation to research or project they wish to be considered. Please send all abstracts to education@iah-ireland.org by Friday the 20th of March 2026.
Eligibility
- Less than 5 years professional experience
How to apply
- Eligible candidates should submit an abstract (<250 words) in relation to the research or project they wish to be considered.
- Candidates must have permission to present their work at the IAH conference should they be successful.
- Abstracts to be submitted to education@iah-ireland.org by the deadline of Friday the 20th of March 2026.
- The IAH will review the abstracts and invite successful candidates to present their work at the annual conference in April 2026
- Successful applicants will be notified at the start of April.
Prizes
- 1st – €500 cash prize, free attendance at the IAH Annual Conference at the Tullamore Court Hotel (including conference accommodation) and the opportunity to present their work at the conference.
- 2nd – €300 cash prize, free conference attendance, flash talk and poster presentation.
- 3rd – €150 cash prize, free conference attendance, flash talk and poster presentation.
