Call for Sponsorship of IAH Student Bursary Scheme

Each year IAH (Irish Group) have a call for sponsorship to continue the tradition of providing some support to the Hydrogeologists of tomorrow, and to encourage their contribution to the development of groundwater understanding. We are contacting our membership and colleagues directly and asking that, if you feel it is appropriate, you would bring the request for support of the IAH (Irish Group) scheme for 2018 to the attention of your company on our behalf. 2018-2019 Student Bursary Scheme

IAH student bursaries for the 2018/2019 academic year are open to students who are members, or are prepared to become members, of the IAH. They, or the project being sponsored by the bursary, should also have a connection with Irish hydrogeology, as set out in the eligibility criteria attached. Applicants can be current students as well as students commencing their studies this year. The closing date for applications is July 6th 2018.

The IAH Irish Group committee are requesting any photographs with a hydrogeology theme for use on the photo gallery of the website, and in particular, one or two photographs which can be used for an exhibition stand which is being prepared/designed in time for the annual conference in April. The EU funded KINDRA project has officially launched the European Inventory for Groundwater Research (EIGR) to the public.
